To get to Khirai from Howrah Station, board a Medinipur or Kharagpur local train, which takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at Khirai Railway Station, use Google Maps to navigate towards Paskura. The Khirai Flower Garden is around 2km away, and you can opt for Totos or shared cars for transportation. Alternatively, if you disembark at Panskura station, you can reach Khirai by taking a Toto or a shared jeep, as Khirai is the subsequent station.
What is the best time to visit Khirai Flower Garden?
Plan your visit during the winter months, from December to February, to witness Khirai in full bloom. The crisp winter air enhances the floral display, offering a breathtaking spectacle. It's during this time that the hard work of local farmers culminates in a burst of colors, showcasing the resilience of rural life despite challenges like increased pollution.

As you spend time in Khirai, witness the passing of locals and express trains every few minutes over the railway bridge near the Flower Garden. Take the opportunity to dip your feet in the Kansabati River flowing alongside the fields.
