The Adi Yogi Shiva statue is an impressive 34 meters (112 feet) tall, 45 meters (147 feet) long, and 25 meters (82 feet) wide. It is made of steel and is located in Thirunamam, Tamil Nadu. This statue holds the Guinness World Record for the "Largest Bust Sculpture." It was designed by Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev, and its weight is approximately 500 tons.




The Adi Yogi Shiva Statue, measuring approximately 40 feet in height, is being constructed on Nabadwip and will be taken to Tripura in the next week. This statue is being crafted by skilled artisans led by Gautam Pal in the Kapalipara area of Nabadwip city. Gautam Pal, the lead sculptor, who have been practicing this craft for generations. While he has created various sculptures of deities in the past, this massive  Adi Yogi statue is a first-time endeavor.


The process of creating this statue takes nearly two months and involves a team of 15 skilled craftsmen. Initially, they use bamboo structures, followed by layering with clay, and then finishing with Plaster of Paris.  Afterward, they will paint and complete the work in Tripura. The statue is divided into several parts or sections for easier transportation to neighboring states.
